Priest:  Acknowledging the divine reign of God over all things visible and invisible, we place our needs at the foot of his throne.

• For the Church of God, that she might faithfully preach and make present the Kingdom of Christ by testifying to the truth. Let us pray to the Lord.
• For government leaders throughout the world, that they imitate the reign of Christ the King by ordering their peoples toward what is just. Let us pray to the Lord.
• For the most vulnerable members of our society, that their lives may be protected, valued, and cherished. Let us pray to the Lord.
• For the parish of N., that when the Lord comes amid the clouds, our hearts may be ready to gratefully welcome his return. Let us pray to the Lord.
• For all those who have died — especially: N. — that they be welcomed into the joy of eternal life and the perfect peace of heaven, let us pray to the Lord.
• For all the intentions we hold in the silence of our hearts, all who have asked us for prayers, and all for whom we have promised to pray, let us pray to the Lord.

Priest:   O God, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,
be kindly attentive to our prayers,
and since man’s weakness is helpless without You,
grant us the help of Your grace,
that in observing the decrees of your sovereignty,
